The Combined Loading Compression Fixture comprises two pairs of steel blocks bolted together. The test specimen fits into a precision slot in the blocks to prevent buckling and is aligned correctly using the specimen centering notch marks. Linear bearing rods keep the upper and lower parts of the fixture aligned.

The central circular recess provides clearance for an extensometer to be attached to the specimen if required.

Compatible with Tinius Olsen ST and SL series of materials testing machines.
