Self-tightening bollard wedge grips. The combination of a wedge and bollard provides an efficient method of gripping low friction materials. A lever release allows rapid loading of the test sample.

The wedge style tensile grip is used on ST series materials testing machines.

Applications

Flexible low friction materials such as polypropylene strapping, PTFE tape, roofing felts etc. Ideally the overall sample length should be greater than 350mm (14in).
