HT20 Electrical Cable Crimp
The HT20 Cable Crimp connector attachment is used to hold a cable with a crimped connector attached. The inner circular part rotates enabling the user to select the optimum size “slot” through which the cable can pass, resting the lower crimp body on the inner side of the circular part as pictured. Typically the other end of the cable has no crimp and is held in a wedge or roller or scissors grip depending on cable gage/size and strength, enabling a tensile pull test to be applied. The HT20 has eight (8) slots to accommodate various gage wire sizes.
This low force tensile grip is used on ST series materials testing machines.
