Folding Endurance

slider1

Folding endurance measures the durability of paper, plastics, leather, fine wire and other pliable materials with comparatively low elongation characteristics. A pliable specimen is placed under a constant tension load to determine how many times it can be folded until it breaks. A variable folding rate option allows the operator to vary the folding rate between 20 and 175 double folds per minute.

Tinius Olsen offers force measurement equipment and material testing machines for Folding Endurance testing. All testing hardware is fully complemented by our Horizon software.
